The next full moonshine run of 2018 falls on July 26, under the luminance of Full Buck Moon because it’s the time of year the Buck Deer start to grow their new antlers. This months moon is also known as the Thunder Moon because of the large thunder head clouds that form on the American plains in this summer month. (source: MoonGiant.com).
This time we partner with Ragnar’s Chase the Moon Challenge – Ragnar meets The Moonshine Runners! With our powers combined, our goal is to run around the Moon 5 times! The best part? It’s free! Register with Ragnar online at:
The route will be a 6.7mi out-and-back (link below)
There will be giveaways a-plenty (including a grand prize!), Moonshine (both kinds!), laughter, and friendship. Come one, come all. Bring your friends; bring your dog.
Meetup is at 8:45pm at Osburn Soccer Park in just south of Nolensville for a 9pm start. This round we’ll soak up the moonshine and enjoy ~6.7 miles of easy pace conversation for runners of all paces under the original running light. Course is an out-and-back, so runners are welcome to choose their own distance.

Wear your reflective gear and a head lamp (which you’ll only need to illuminate for the rare oncoming vehicle on this country road) under this month’s full moon light. Bring your dog for an extra howlin’ good time.
