The next full moonshine run of 2018 falls on Aug 26, under the luminance of Sturgeon Moon because it’s the time of year that Native Americans knew that the sturgeon of the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain were most readily caught during this Full Moon. They also called August’s Moon the “Full Green Corn Moon.” (source: Old Farmer’s Almanac.com)
Come celebrate the 30th running of the full moon with us!
Meetup is at 8:45pm at Osburn Soccer Park in just south of Nolensville for a 9pm start. This round we’ll soak up the moonshine and enjoy ~4.75 miles of easy pace conversation for runners of all paces under the original running light. Course is an out-and-back, so runners are welcome to choose their own distance.

Wear your reflective gear and a head lamp (which you’ll only need to illuminate for the rare oncoming vehicle on this country road) under this month’s full moon light. Bring your dog for an extra howlin’ good time.
