The next full moonshine run of 2018 falls on Tuesday, May 29, under the luminance of Flower Moon to signify the flowers that bloom during this month. It’s also known as the Corn Planting Moon which is super cool because whiskey is made from corn. 8)
Meetup is at 7:45pm at a new location this go ’round…Hampton Inn-Arsenal at 501 Boulevard S SW, Huntsville, AL 35802 for an 8pm start. This round we’ll soak up the moonshine and enjoy ~5 miles of easy pace conversation for runners of all paces under the original running light.
Course is an out-and-back down Martin Road to the Arsenal gate and back (road run West to East then back again), so runners are welcome to choose their own distance. Route is walker friendly too. There should not be any traffic going in, and the area has no street lights, making for a great moonshine experience.

Wear your reflective gear and a head lamp (which you’ll only need to illuminate for the rare oncoming vehicle on this country road) under this month’s full moon light. Bring your dog for an extra howlin’ good time.
